J Paul Rosilez Winery began one fall day, at our once sheep ranch, in Lodi,Ca. We were crushing Chardonnay grapes that had been given to my wife and I from our veterinarian as a wedding gift. That year we produced 6 barrels of wine and we thought that was great. With the help of a local winemaker, we decided to expand production that next year and we soon grew to 80 barrels. The 99 vintage of Old Vine Zin, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot would become our first commercial bottling. The wines were showing great promise
